Membership
The NIPTE Community is a collaboration space providing secure access to NIPTE Centers of Excellence, Focus Groups and other committees and teams.
Everyone is welcome to join the general NIPTE Community to receive our periodic newsletter, notice of special events and other opportunities. Faculty/junior faculty at NIPTE member organizations are eligible to participate on the Faculty Committee.

Faculty Committee Membership
The NIPTE Faculty Committee is comprised of active faculty and junior faculty from each of NIPTE’s Member Organizations. The goal of the Committee is to have all our faculty colleagues engaged and participating in NITPE projects — both scientific and educational based.
To participate on the Committee, members must first be nominated by their department head by using this form. Once nominated, the nominee will receive a link to an online form to complete the process.
Faculty committee members must obey the NIPTE Faculty Committee By-Laws, serve on an additional committee or focus group and support the efforts of the NIPTE President and Executive Director toward achieving NIPTE’s Mission and Vision.
Efforts may include funding opportunities for NIPTE Member Organizations and Faculty Committee Members.
Industry and Other Membership and Partnership Opportunities
NIPTE’s latest initiative is the Advisory Council on Industry Relations. The Advisory Council will connect corporate sponsors with academic researchers, fostering new collaborations and increasing interactions between the pharmaceutical industry and faculty members and scientists across all NIPTE institutions.
“The Council will facilitate NIPTE’s efforts to advance pharmaceutical innovation, modernize domestic manufacturing, and strengthen the workforce to ensure a resilient, secure and future-ready supply chain for modern medicines,” says Dr. James Drennen, Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Duquesne University and current Chair of NIPTE’s Board of Directors.
NIPTE represents more than 100 faculty members with a wide range of expertise. We are seeking industrial partners interested in joining this collaborative industry-academia partnership. See list of NIPTE capabilities.
